This ring celebrates one of the ocean's most amazing inhabitants, the hammerhead shark.
Created by the lost wax method of casting, the original master was carved by hand like a small sculpture. The shark wraps around your finger and the smooth contours reflect light beautifully. Each ring is cast in solid .925 sterling silver then individually finished.
Sharks have been around for about 20 million years, the earliest of the hammerhead type probably developed its unique head shape to give it extra sensory function. They have receptors that detect electricity from other fish and the shape also gives the shark the ability to see above and below it at all times.
